We are still in the early stages of our Research Paper.  We have been locating sources in the library and using online sources.  We have copied the information we need for our papers from these internet and book sources.  All pages with information for your paper should be in the Research section of your Research Binders.  In addition to this, we should all have completed our bibliography cards for these sources. Now, it is time to take these sources of information and begin organizing our notes in preparation for the paper.  The first step is to thoroughly read through all of the information you have collected.  As you read, highlight the information using the following color scheme:     Job Description = Pink     Education = Green     Skills = Blue     Strengths = Yellow     Weaknesses = Orange/Purple Once you have highlighted the information, you want to create note cards.  Each note card should hold one idea, or one piece of information from one source.  This information can be a quote, a summary, or a paraphrase.  (We talked about all three of these in class).  You will use these note cards to help you organize your thinking as you begin the outlining process for your Research Papers. Watch the video below about how to make and format your note cards.  If you have questions about what you are doing... ASK!
