Blunt Blowin' Mama and Elise McDonough go over the mission to use cannabis in dishes outside of dessert. Elise McDonough is a former High Times contributor and specializes in consuming and creating MMJ Edibles. Elise believes that edibles can be the best way to consume cannabis by medical patients. She recommends that novice cannabis users should always go low and start slow to enjoy their experience to not get uncomfortably high. Elise currently works with Satori chocolates and provides insight on the product she creates. It is small batch, organic, and carefully crafted micro-dose cannabis infused nuts and bite sized snacks. A surprising insight is that edibles have more stringent requirements set by the local California government than many foods. Elise opens up and shares her experience being a white woman in cannabis, she shares her personal journey with consuming cannabis and explains how  being arrested exposed her to injustices in the system and the disparities in experience from race to race when it comes to legal matters and weed. Blunt Blowin' Mama and Elise unpack the injustices in society and the need for systemic change to battle racial injustice and prejudice. Elise has been heavily involved with the fight for cannabis legalization and speaks on the disparity between white and brown entrepreneurs' success and how white business owners have more access to capital to launch and fund their cannabis businesses compared to their brown and black counterparts. In this episode Elise and Blunt Blowin' Mama also discuss the power cannabis has  to change the world and heal the consumer, as well as why we should encourage ourselves to be creative with how we consume cannabis in our daily lives.
