Make Your Own Religion - a podcast by Body of Christ

After choosing among hundreds of religions and not finding one that is satisfying why not make your own religion?  According to recent study Americans are customizing their religion to fit their personal needs.  For some people customized religion is not true religion.  For other people being in a religion that fits them personally is fulfilling, satisfying and righteous.  But is there anything wrong with either perspective?  And if something is wrong with either perspective which perspective is right?
