Mother’s Day spending is expected to total a record $25 billion this year, up from $23.1 billion in 2018, according to the annual survey released today by the National Retail Federation. A total 84 percent of U.S. adults are expected to celebrate in honor of their mothers and other women in their lives..  Although it has pagan roots, many Christians have embraced Mother's Day as a time to show love and appreciation.  Billions of dollars will be spent on gifts, flowers and edibles by many in honor of mothers worldwide, but what does the Bible say about honoring our mothers.  Is Mother's Day a vain tradition of man?  Why and how were mothers honored according to the Bible?  Join us as we search the scriptures for answers to these questions and more.
