The Red Sox rallied on Xander Bogaerts’ RBI double and Mitch Moreland’s sacrifice fly, ending Bieber’s night in the 7th. Adam Cimber entered and retired both batters he faced, allowing an inherited runner to score on an Ian Kinsler groundout, to end the inning with Cleveland retaining a 5-3 lead.Gomes then drilled his 12th homer of the season off Tyler Thornburg in the eighth.
