Dr. Samir Mahmoud is the former Assistant Professor at the Lebanese American University and currently works as a consultant in Islamic Education.

He received his PhD from the University of Cambridge, researching comparative aesthetics (Western and Islamic).

In addition to his several publications, he has also founded the Living Turath Initiative that looks at how we can make the wisdom of the Islamic tradition relevant to our everyday lives.
