Polyamory can be simply defined as the practice or desire for intimate relationships with more than one partner, with the full consent and knowledge of all partners. It has been described as "consensual, ethical, and responsible non-monogamy".

However, just as there are many many types of people, there are many flavors of polyamory. We will take a look at just a few to give you a taste of what might be… there are as many types of practicing polyamory as there are people in this world.
