*TRUMPET BLAST* Welcome to our 100th episode! We can’t believe we made it this far, and are so happy to be back for our fifth season! In this episode, we talk about the Satanic Panic from the 1980s. This topic comes straight from our childhoods, and we discuss personal stories as well as absolutely heartbreaking ones. First, Cody shares a bunch of local stories about Screaming Wells, a place outside his hometown where Satanic rituals and animal sacrifices were said to occur. Then, Chris talks about the West Memphis 3, a group of teenagers who were accused of being Satanists and murdering children. This tale is absolutely heartbreaking, and you don’t want to miss it. Next, Cody travels just a couple hours from his hometown to talk about a suicide in Childress, Texas, that led to a crazy-ass satanic witchhunt. Finally, Chris completes the story of the West Memphis 3. You’re gonna be so angry by the end of this, as it’s just tragic. Creep of the week is an uplifting story about supposed satanists who were freed from prison and reunited after years. This episode’s drinks are Devil’s Piss and House Sangria.
