When given at a young age, this vaccine is 100% effective in preventing cervical cancer, an illness that was killing over 250,000 women every year. BTI emeritus faculty member, Dr. Robert Granados, joined us to discuss a discovery in his lab that would eventually become a key component of Cervarix.
