Emily Doe gets a book deal

The woman who has managed to keep her identity hidden during the trial of Brock Turner has come forward to announce she has a memoir coming out September 24th, 2019. Her book “Know my name” is said to be a conversation about sexual assault. Emily Doe has come forward as Chantel Miller.

China vs. Hong Kong

In an epic showdown between protestors in Hong Kong and Chinese government, protestors have become victorious. The fight began after a plan to allow extraditions to mainland China. But critics said those in Hong Kong would be exposed to China's deeply flawed justice system, and it would lead to further erosion of the city's judicial independence.
After protests that organisers said involved up to two million people at times, Hong Kong's leader Carrie Lam has said the bill is "dead", but has stopped short of withdrawing the bill entirely, so the protests continues.

This is Fucked Up
Beto O’Rouke is sick of the senseless gun violence. During a townhall meeting the 2020 presidential hopeful spoke to the people of Virginia about the recent shooting during a traffic stop in Midland, Texas that left 8 dead. As it all unfolded he told the crowd “this is fucked up!”. Since then O’Rouke’s campaign began
selling T-shirt’s with “this is fucked up” on it six times with the bottom reading “end gun violence now”.
