While the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were resting on Sunday after their victory in Philadelphia on Thursday night, other teams in their conference played on Sunday & matched the Buccaneers 5-1 record. And that's where former NFL quarterback Brandon Doughty & Len Martez, better known as the Monday Morning Xtra Point team, focused their discussion about week six in the NFL.
Brandon & Len started the podcast by agreeing that the Bucs' running game was a pleasant surprise to their win against the Eagles. The MMXP team's next point of agreement wasn't a positive one for the Miami Dolphins or their fans because in both Brandon & Len's eyes, the Dolphins committed multiple mistakes late in their loss in London against Jacksonville.
After discussing the Dolphins dreaded long flight back from England, Brandon & Len touched up on the game that at first glance looked like the game of the week but ended being a one-sided affair. That one-sided contest was the dismantling of the Los Angeles Chargers by the Baltimore Ravens. Brandon had a lot to say about how the Ravens disguise their defense which probably confused second year quarterback Justin Herbert.
Brandon & Len literally saved the best for last in more ways than one because for one, they talked about the Arizona Cardinals, the lone undefeated team in the NFL. And after not wanting to buy into the Cardinals, Brandon finally conceded that Arizona is a dangerous team, mainly because of their quarterback Kyler Murray. But Brandon added that the other 5-1 teams in the NFC like the Cowboys, the Rams & Packers are just as dangerous as the undefeated Cardinals.
