Sis, I need help: Mental Health and The Strong Black Woman - a podcast by Between Us Girls
from 2019-07-12T01:00:19
In this week's episode I sit and chat with someone who has an amazing light and personality, when I first met Kamilah we were holding a group talk for the purpose of filming the session for a documentary NBA (No Boys Allowed Media) was working on and the way she was able to get everyone to share so freely and comfortably spoke to the softness of her spirit. This weekend Kamilah in association with her practice KBT Counseling & Consulting, PLLC is holding an event to get to the bottom of The Strong Black Superwoman syndrome and she's going to be asking the tough questions. In our interview we share stories about how we deal with our own low points, and what started her on this journey. Tell your kids you need a break and press play!
