When I started out on this project, I didn't realise I would have role-models or heroes in the Prehistory podcast world , yet here they are! Rupert Soskin and Michael Bott of The Prehistory guys podcast are also fantastic film-makers and I cannot recommend highly enough 'Standing with Stones' as a must watch for anyone interested in British Megaliths and stone circles, or indeed many that won't know they are until they watch the film.

In this episode I was privileged to talk to them, learn from them and even see if I could blag myself a role as the third Prehistory guy......with limited success perhaps.
We chatted about the film and starting the podcast, how a deep dive [deep enough to look at snails in the soil] can re-shape an entire idea about Prehistory and some of the fascinating things they have discussed on The Prehistory guys podcast, as well as some of their own very well-educated opinions on aspects of British Prehistory that may have been misrepresented over the years.
