BU Gigs Founder Launches New App, SocialCall - a podcast by BU News Service

If you're a student at BU, you're probably familiar with the BU Gigs page. Its an online social marketplace for students to post requests and offers to other students. Students can sell items, find housing sublets, and promote events on campus and in Boston.

But the page isn't just at BU. There are gigs pages at Northeastern, NYU, Columbia, Harvard, and Stanford, among others, and they're all the invention of one person-- Kaluwe Muntanga.

Kaluwe is a senior from Northeastern, and this month he launched a new app based off the Gigs pages called SocialCall. Since SocialCall launched on March 5th, over 2400 students have downloaded the app.
