Tufts Students Protest Resolution on Israel - a podcast by BU News Service

On the eve of the first night of Passover, the Tufts University student senate approved a resolution calling for the University to divest from four companies that do business with Israel. It was a part of a wider campaign, called Boycott, Divest, and Sanction (BDS) that encourages colleges to reassess their investments in Israel because of the Israeli Government's treatment of Palestinians.

At Tufts, the resolution was put forth by the Students for Justice in Palestine or SJP. WTBU Reporter Zoƫ Mitchell spoke with Tuft's students Keren Hendel and Noah Habeeb about the resolution.
