Lindsey faced the struggles of shopping for South Asian formal wear when she started dating her fiancé Shiv and had to attend multi-day weddings as his +1. From poor customer service to awkward sizes and outrageous pricing, the global South Asian formal wear industry can be daunting even for those raised within the South Asian diaspora. Ultimately, she was inspired to create Preserve; A platform bridging the gap between cultures, advocating the artisanship of South Asian designers while providing sustainable access to global fashion for the North American market.  She shares her experience adjusting to Indian cultural expectations, starting a business, and share her vision for Preserve.
