#1280 : Comportement inédit d'un magnétar observé avec NICER - a podcast by Eric Simon

Un comportement inédit vient d'être observé dans le signal d'une éruption de rayons X d'un magnétar. Trois pics d'intensité fusionnent en un seul pic en l'espace de quelques jours. Cette observation de l'évolution des points chauds à la surface du magnétar indique comment doit bouger sa croûte... L'étude est parue dans The Astrophysical Journal Letters.
