Threads have come a long way from the surgical gold threads to the new PDO dissolving threads. These PDO threads are used predominantly for tissue/ fatty descent of the face. Areas that are no longer or not capable of rejuvenation by regular means (Botulinum toxins, Fillers, and Bio-stimulators) would require some thread lifting to counteract the descent and laxity of the face.
