- Sony announces Xperia XZ2 and XZ2 Compact.

- Nokia announces 1, 6, 7 Plus, and 8 Sirocco phones.

 

General Tech:

- Swype keyboard is dead. But it's legacy lives on in pretty much every other keyboard.

- Smartphone sales dropped for the first time ever in Q4 2017

 

Microsoft:

- 3 PCs running Windows on ARM coming to 14 different carriers worldwide this spring.

- Intel will have 5G connected PCs next year.

 

Apple:

- Sketchy rumor alert: iPhone SE with larger 4.2" screen coming at WWDC.

- Refreshed iPads may come in March. Probably press release announcement.

- New version of Aripods coming sometime this year.

- Latest Mobile OS stats put iOS and Android at 99.9% market share. Sorry Blackberry and Windows Phone.

- Apple could announce the Airpower wireless charging pad in March.

- KGI says Apple is developing high-end over ear headphones.

- Vulcan API is now compatible with macOS and iOS.

 

Intel did not tell the US Government  about Spectre or Meltdown until we new about it.

 

Gaming:

- Tomb Raider games coming to Xbox Game Pass.

- 343 Industries is wanting community input for the updated Master Chief Collection.

- Indie Game Spotlight of the Week: Dusk, we already talked about this, but it's great. And we wanted to remind you of that.

- Alto's Odyssey. Amazing! Download on iOS here.

- Age Of Empires: Definitive Edition. As Caleb puts it, 'BLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMAZING!'
