But, when it comes to doctrine, it becomes very important that we compare all teachings with the Scriptures–to judge according to revealed truth. This is our responsibility, and this is the theme of todays teaching in our ongoing series The Battle for Truth.

For all that Jesus taught us about crucifying our flesh, it seems strange that there has come into the church of God teachings that exalt sinful, fallen man, and in the process minimize the eternal, holy God.Calvary Chapel Elk Grove is a non-denominational fellowship located in Roselle, a northwest suburb of Chicago in Illinois.

Our primary mission is to teach God's Word in its' entirety, verse-by-verse, precept upon precept.
