Prayer is, at all times, more than we expect and less that we expect. Through self-reflection and communing with the Divine we see God in new ways and see ourselves through a lens of the eyes of the Divine as well. I hope you enjoy this convo with Justin and Scott.

Guest Bios:

McRoberts, a songwriter and retreat leader, and Erickson, an artist and creative storyteller, believe that we all have an innate desire to commune and communicate with God. But they know that it can sometimes feel contrived or unnatural. In Prayer, they invite readers to explore prayer in a fresh way with memorable, poetic prayers and stunning, thoughtful artwork (I’ve included some samples below).

Their book is truly a work of art designed to inform and inspire readers to join in an intimate and ongoing conversation with God. They share meditations and suggested practices (such as journaling and fasting) throughout the book to help readers tune into what God is doing in them. With 40 prayers throughout the book, Prayer lends itself perfectly to an observance of the 40 days of Lent.
