Are people moving in together because they have intentions of marriage or is it for financial reasons? Should there be a year limit in regards to how long you live together before marriage?  Do individuals believe in the constitution of marriage or is it viewed as a piece of paper and a courthouse? There is an increase of women and some men who live together for years and know they are ready to get married but the other party doesn’t. In some cases they feel trapped because homes, cars, and other major purchases have taken place. Children are involved and attachments have developed. There is an old saying “Why Buy the Cow When You Can Get the Milk For Free”? Do you agree or disagree?  If you are already acting in a spousal role before receiving the title, why should a person marry you? What do they have to look forward to? You are cooking, cleaning, paying bills, providing emotional, physical and financial support, taking care of their children, washing their clothes, and attending all of the family functions. This is a topic where we ALL HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY….IT’S YOURTURN TO BE HEARD. Call 347-215-8985 and tell, text, e-mail a friend Thursday, September 13 at 8:00 your thoughts can be heard and you can receive insight. Your opinion matters.
