Canada in WW1: The Battle of Festubert - a podcast by Craig Baird

The Battle of Festubert would be the second major engagement for the Canadian troops and it would be a relative disaster due to the lack of planning by British Commanders. 

It was a battle that saw over 2,000 Canadian deaths for only 600 yards of land. 

In this episode, I look at the planning of the battle, the battle itself and the aftermath.
