Canada in WW1: The Battle of Thipeval - a podcast by Craig Baird

Only a few weeks after the Battle of the Courcelette, Canada was once again through into the grinder of the Somme when they were ordered to help the British take Thiepval Ridge. 

The next three days would be a fierce battle that would see success, failure and the loss of hundreds of Canadian troops.
