Stadacona and Hochelaga - a podcast by Craig Baird

When Jacques Cartier arrived in what would be Quebec, he found two villages. One, Stadacona, had 500 people and the other, Hochelaga, had 1,500-3,000. While these villages wouldn't last the century, upon them would be built Montreal and Quebec City.
