As we kick off a new series “Be Full”  and the annual Missions Emphasis — a celebration of our partnerships and projects "across the street and around the world" that are all about serving and loving others in the name of Jesus, we invited over guest speaker and pastor, Kevin Falde, to share of his experiences in his missionary works in Haiti and the Dominican Republic.

 

"She was full of good works and acts of charity." Acts 9:36

 

Luke, the author of the book of Acts, commends the disciple Tabitha with the highest praise he could give for a follower of Jesus — one who was beautifully living out the full life she'd discovered in Christ by giving, serving, and loving others in His name.

 

Because, like Tabitha, we want to Be Full as we live out our calling as His church — "full of good works and acts of charity."
