The power of one.

 

That’s how a fair amount of motivational speakers begin. “You—yes, you—can do this!” Except that’s not the “Good Idea” we’re tackling this weekend. This “one” is when we become “one.”

 

Jesus and His followers had a lot to say about this good idea and it’s a surprising reminder. What if our most powerful apologetic self showed up before we ever formed an argument or spoke a word?

 

Unity is a big idea, it’s a good idea, and it’s possible for you and for me, and for us.

 

As we continue this series called “Good Idea,” Pastor Ben encourages us how this “power of one” is achievable when we all decide to become as “one.”
