Songwriters don’t get much more prolific than Steve Kilbey, frontman for the Church. Besides decades of anchoring mood- and mindscapes for the Church, Kilbey’s carved out a busy, creatively fertile solo career for himself. His latest release, “Eleven Women,” recorded during the pandemic, is raw and wonderful. Kilbey joins me from another continent this evening to chat on Car Con Carne.
