Henry Jackson Jr. (December 12, 1912 – October 22, 1988) was an American professional boxer and a world boxing champion who fought under the name Henry Armstrong.
Henry Armstrong, a 5-foot-5½ buzzsaw, accomplished what no fighter before or since has ever been able to do -- he simultaneously held three world titles. He managed this unique feat before inflation hit boxing, back when there were only eight weight classes with no junior-this or super-that divisions.In the second part of Armstong's story, we document his reign as champion, the adversity that he faced, the politics of boxing, and the rest of his storied career and life.
