Jim Hinckley is an automotive journalist, author, speaker, and the Development Consultant at Jim Hinckley’s America brand. He is the former Associate Editor for Cars & Parts and has published feature articles for Hemmings Classic and Special Interest Auto, Classic Auto Restorer, Old Cars Weekly, as well as nineteen automotive books. His published automotive works are focused on the American auto industry between 1885 and 1945 and he has made presentations on numerous topics in the early automotive road, highways, and the evolution of Route 66 in the USA. Jim’s work has been the subject of interviews on a variety of programs including Jay Leno’s Garage and Travel with Rick Steves.
