Today we’re in Acts chapter 11. There will always be those in religious circles who look down on others who don’t follow rituals and traditions like they do. The apostle Peter explains his encounter and actions to the Jewish leaders and declares that God, through his spirit, comes also to those who are not like them. This sets them right in their thinking and begins a wave of new believers in areas outside of Jerusalem. This would also bring about great persecution and opposition to the early church.
