Today we continue our series titled, “Taming The Tongue”. Words carry enormous power—the power to heal or wound, encourage or discourage, speak truth or deceive, praise or criticize. In fact, the Bible says that death and life are in the power of the tongue. Since that’s true, we all definitely need to learn how to control our tongues. Today we’ll look at the “Truth About Words”. It’s important we really understand the power of the words we use. Words cost, words hurt and words last. In each of these there’s a lie that’s perpetuated in culture. The good news is repentance and forgiveness can help us make a course correction if needed. Let’s talk more about it.
