After his triumphant entry into Jerusalem, Jesus went straight to the temple and wiped it clean from all the busyness that was not supposed to happen there. The story of the cleansing of the temple is a prophetic image of the need to spiritually cleanse our lives and get rid of the sin and distractions that so easily entangle us.
