Hello, and Happy New (Podcasting) Year 2021. We welcome you to CG Missions New Podcast Series “Empowered” and the first episode entitled, “The Comforter.” We thank everyone for being with us today, and thank you, our listeners, for your support in the past, and for your continued support.” This podcast series is about being empowered by the Holy Spirit/Holy Ghost to continue the work Jesus started on the earth. That empowerment is spoken of in Acts, Chapter 1, verse 8. Jesus told His disciples after His resurrection and before He ascended into heaven, “But you shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and you shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” We will look more closely at who the Holy Spirit is after we talk about the Holy Spirit's role as our Comforter.
