Jesus and St. Paul are drawing us INWARD

READ – Jeremiah 31:33 - “I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.

Romans 12:2 – “Do not conform yourself to the age of this world, but be TRANSFORMED by the RENEWAL OF YOUR MIND, so that you may know what is God’s Will, what is Good, Pleasing and Perfect.”

Philippians 4:8 – “Whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is gracious, if there is any excellence and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.”

Matthew 5:8 – “Blessed are the PURE OF HEART, for they shall see GOD”

To fight this battle, Saint Paul says to “Take Every Thought Captive in Obedience to Christ”

Matthew 6:6 - But as for you, when you pray, go into your inner room, close your door, and pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you.

“My heart is restless until it rests in YOU” - St. Augustine

CHALLENGE
- Set aside some time this week to pray – just you and God
- Open your Bible and pray with a Psalm (Psalm 27)
