John 6
48 I am the bread of life.
51 I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever;

“and the bread that I will give is my flesh for the life of the world.”

52 The Jews quarreled among themselves, saying, “How can this man give us [his] flesh to eat?” 53 Jesus said to them, “Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you do not have life within you. 54 Whoever eats[s] my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him on the last day. 55 For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink. 56 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me and I in him.

60 Then many of his disciples who were listening said, “This saying is hard; who can accept it?”

66 As a result of this, many [of] his disciples returned to their former way of life and no longer accompanied him.

Jesus will ask you…
67 Jesus then said to the Twelve, “Do you also want to leave?”
68 Simon Peter answered him, “Master, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. 69 We have come to believe and are convinced that you are the Holy One of God.”

1 Corinthians 10
“You cannot drink of the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons. You cannot partake of the table of the Lord and the table of demons”

Canon 915 says “those obstinately persevering in manifest grave sin are not to be admitted to holy communion.”

Luke 13
“Unless you repent, you will all likewise perish”
