Interview Highlights:

31 The story Bård shares begins with fragmented memories in his childhood around the age of 2-3 years old.

57 He talked quite early, slow to walk yet quick to talk.

07 His parents told him that while other children would be running around Bård preferred to sit and talk, much as he enjoys sitting on his backside and talking still today! :-)

53 He is an only child and his parents are archeologists, which has been quite defining for him his whole life.

36 Existential perspectives from a very early age. Meaning the world as Bård knows it depends upon him, it's linked to him and his existence.

35 That his way of being in the world is accessible to no one else, just as the way that others perspective is not totally accessible to Bård. These were some very early thoughts he had.

47 Archeology, constructing worlds from stories. Finding physical remnants from the past and constructing a story about it today.

17 The inventing of stories, because things are connected through story has alway been a part of Bård's life.

45 Indiana Jones like adventure, unearthing someone else's artefacts, their story, and then yours becomes a part of it. Because you found it and will interpret it.

15 Archeologists find "stuff" and then they write about it. The writing is done by someone, not something. It is not an interview, the finder writes their story of what they have found.

01 Yet a couple-relationship enters in because even the boat or the artefact needs someone to offer it a perspective. That it can know its role, it's place, it's story and the aliveness of the story is in the telling of it. Even artefacts need a partner for their story to be told.

17 Bård as a child before attending school spent his summers in a giant sandbox, on archeological diggs with his parents and colleges. It was play to him.

55 While much of his family was involved in history, Bård chose the adventure of phycology and working with living people.

13 Is Bård in a sandbox of his own today?
