Google: Sherika Ekpo - a podcast by Treehouse

Sherika Ekpo (she/her), a native of the D.C. Metropolitan area, joined Google as the Global Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Lead for the Artificial Intelligence and Research product area. Prior to Google, Sherika served as the Head of People Operations at the United States Digital Service (USDS). Sherika has over 15 years of experience and a diverse set of skills in recruiting, data analysis, diversity, training and public policy. She has worked in both the public and private sectors with enterprises such as JP MorganChase, General Electric, and the Department of Homeland Security, just to name a few. She received her Masters of Business Administration from the Robert H. Smith School of Business, University of Maryland and Bachelors of Business Administration from Howard University. 

 

Outside of her professional experiences, she is a loving wife to Anyanime, and mother of three children, Oshae, Amari, and Ayanna. In her spare time, she loves to travel, spend time with friends, and watch Grey's Anatomy.
