 April is ‘Draft Science 2016’ month and we start it off on the podcast. 


Analyzing the physiological traits is imperative in the pre-draft evaluation process. Old scouts have thresholds they look for in performance testing as well as on film. That eye-test has experience behind it, but there is more to analyzing how an a athlete will move on the field in a live contest.


Draft Science - Athletic Matrix Analysis   

The athletic matrix addresses the evaluation from a functional football approach.  a number of matrices are position specific, but four central matrices define each position.  We go over the offensive line Analysis.


Mock Draft #2

The ProFootballSpot.com analysts held the second of three live mock drafts leading up to the main event in April. PFS’ Director of Draft content, Chris Licata joins us to run down the 1st round results.
