This week, we're talkin' Dooku: Jedi Lost, the increasing possibility of an Obi-Wan thing, and whether or not kids these days like Star Wars (spoiler: they do). Head on over to the blog post for this episode to see images and video that we talk about: www.childrenoftheforce.com/2019/08/16/episode-139-obi-what-now/

STAR WARSY STUFF [2:30]

We’re in the thick of Dooku: Jedi Lost and it’s bringing up some complicated ideas surrounding teaching and knowledge and whether or not it’s always better to know than to not know.

Thrawn: Treason doesn’t spark the same level of discussion, but I’m reading that, too. It’s Thrawny.

I publish a correction and illustrate the difference between Lats Razzi and Sugi.

NEWS [13:00]

We have the trailer for season 2 of Resistance, and sadly also the news that it will be the last season.

In sillier news, the Star Wars Kids youtube channel has a new show: Star Wars Roll Out.

Don Williams says that “every theme” will be in The Rise of Skywalker. I can’t wait to see how they utilize Jabba’s theme. More tuba. That’s what Star Wars needs.

The Star Wars Barbies are pretty much as cool as they can be while still being Barbies:

Allegiance has a new blurb.

And the Obi-Wan movie rumor has now turned into the Obi-Wan Disney+ rumor. And it’s getting legs!

CANON NEWS [32:45]

This week’s Canon News comes from excerpts released from the upcoming book, Secrets of the Jedi.

Q&A COUNCIL [40:20]
