Chasing Faith: Episode 5 - Rev. Nicole Armstrong - a podcast by Christ Church, NYC

Nicole is the Director of Spiritual Formation here at Christ Church. She is a recent transplant to NYC, originally born and raised in southern California. She received her B.A. in Sociology and Religion at California Lutheran University, then went on to Duke University, where she received her Master in Divinity. She moved home to pursue a year long residency in hospital chaplaincy, then moved into the role of Associate Pastor at Anaheim UMC. She was recently commissioned as a Deacon in the California-Pacific conference, meaning she is officially a Reverend y’all! Outside of church she loves traveling, live music, soccer, learning new things, and anything else that displays the beauty and brilliance of God’s creation. Nicole is passionate about creating spaces that seek to offer a safe environment for spiritual discernment, questioning, learning, and growth. Through her own life experiences she believes that these opportunities are vital to a strong relationship with the Divine, with oneself, and with the community. Through her role as Director of Spiritual Education, Nicole will be a part of creating retreats, curating forums, offering discussion groups, and leading children’s education. She loves one on one conversation and would love to get to know you over a cup of coffee!
