That’s what Grammy winning Christian music artist, Mandisa, is clinging to as she shares her struggles with mental health in her latest book: “Out of the Dark,” available now. Nine-time Emmy winner, David Sams, candidly talks with Mandisa about her ongoing journey with depression and anxiety in hopes her redemption story will be a piece of redemptive healing for you. Mandisa has sold more than 1.6 million records and is an American Idol season 5 finalist. She also cohosts the “Out of the Dark” podcast with license therapist Laura Williams to explore the often-taboo topic from a Christian perspective. In conjunction with the book release, on Friday, March 18, Mandisa will debut a new single, “Out of the Dark (Petey Martin Remix),” the first track from the forthcoming Overcomer: The Remixes EP, scheduled to release April 29.
Four new remixes will be featured on the EP, including “Out of the Dark”, “Overcomer”, “Comeback Kid”, and “Bleed The Same."
