Did you know that on any given night in Australia there are in excess of 28,000 young people (aged 12-14) who are homeless, this equates to 24% of the homeless population in Australia. So what exactly is being done to combat this? And how can we help rebuild the lives of vulnerable young people, who don’t have a secure and safe place to live?

Our Talking Buildings guest this month is Kate Mills, CEO of the Property Industry Foundation (PIF). In this episode, we discuss the tireless work PIF contribute to making a tangible difference to the problem of youth homelessness. Kate explains how PIF brings the Property and Construction Industry together to collaborate and tackle this issue – by building a safe environment, creating a positive and truly life changing for young people, who find themselves homeless and with nowhere else to turn.
