All in the Family: David - November 27, 2016 - a podcast by City Church STL

This Sunday, we kicked off the 2016 Christmas season with our Advent series entitled "All in the Family." Over the course of Advent, we'll trace the lineage of Ruth all the way to Jesus, looking at each character through the lens of each week's Advent themes. Today, we considered David, Ruth's great grandson in conjunction with the Advent theme of hope.
The outline was as follows:
1) Hope for a Caring King (1 Samuel 16:11a; Psalm 23)
2) Hope for a Victorious King (1 Chronicles 18:1-6, 12-14; Psalm 18:46-50)
3) Hope for a Righteous King (1 Kings 15:5; Psalm 51:1-13)
