You see the missing piece, the cause of all the confusion. This is precisely what happens when we begin to wrap our minds around this inescapable truth: Humanity is wired in the image of God. Where this truth is embraced, honored, and preserved, humanity flourishes. However, where this truth is forgotten and neglected, humanity suffers. Whether we realize it or not, understanding that we are made in the image of God determines the way we relate to God, others, and the rest of creation.
