If we're honest, oftentimes we love the 'idea' of love more than actually receiving or giving it. There's a lot of reasons why this seems to be the case, but each reason leads us down the same road, missing out on the depths and dynamics of love in our lives. The scriptures invite us down a different road and on a different journey where we can encounter stunning, sobering, settling and even unnerving aspects of love. It's these aspects that we want to explore together engaging with the question how far am I willing to be stretched for the sake of love?
