In today's study, we witness Abram, the pillar of faith, stumble in fear as he enlists his wife to participate with him in a half-truth that gets the two of them into trouble with Pharaoh. We also see in this story a foreshadowing of a future event involving another Pharaoh (as told in Exodus), which serves to illustrate the phrase: "Prophecy is Pattern."
