Rob Fodor begins his fourth season with the HEAT and his first in the role of Shooting Coach/Player Development Coach. Fodor, the first full-time Shooting Coach in franchise history, joined the HEAT as Shooting Consultant prior to the start of the 2016-17 season. His duties include providing each player with individual attention in an effort to improve their shooting mechanics. Since Fodor’s arrival three years ago, the HEAT have set a new franchise record for three-point field goals made in each of his three seasons working with the team and last season set the franchise record for points in a season.

Fodor has spent his entire adult life around the game of basketball, serving as an entrepreneur and consultant for over 30 years. His resume includes time spent coaching and teaching shooting in Norway, Germany, Spain, Singapore and Slovenia. Fodor is the owner of The Shooting Guy, a basketball website dedicated to the science of player development.
