from 2020-05-15T11:29:05
Coach Kreinbrink shares great insight on what makes the Napoleon Girls Basketball Program one of the very best in the state of Ohio. Listen to hear how they handled the adversity of having their season cancelled as they advanced to the Final Four. Coach Kreinbrink also shares some of the reasons why his players, team, and community are so special.
Corey just finished his fifth season at Napoleon, OH. They won a Regional Championship (Final Four) this past season for the first time in school history, 27-0. They have won a District Championship (Sweet 16) the last three seasons in Division II (Ohio’s second largest school division) in 2018, 2019, and 2020 - the one in 2018 was the first District Championship in school history.
This past season, they went 27-0, had a scoring differential of 30+ points per game, shot over 36% from the 3pt line as a team, had a PPP of 1.11, and held teams to under 28 points per game.
Coach's father has been the girls basketball coach at Leipsic High School for the past 33 years. He officially began coaching basketball at Baldwin Wallace as an assistant for the women’s basketball team (3 years), went to North Central High School (Pioneer, Ohio) for 3 years (2 JV and 1 Varsity), and am now at Napoleon High School.
