Coach Jana Pearson of University of Northern Colorado (NCAA D1) - a podcast by Sammy Doucette

This episode features current University of Northern Colorado Assistant Coach Jana Pearson. Coach Jana was at Vanguard University in Costa Mesa, California prior to joining the staff at UNC. Before Vanguard University she was the assistant at Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, Tennessee. Both Freed and Vanguard are two of the top women's basketball programs in the country for the NAIA. Coach Jana tells us about her experience as a walk on at Harding University and how it led her to becoming a 5'8, NCAA division 1, post coach. She shares some insight on mistakes made, recruiting now vs recruiting then, and so much more. This episode is one of my favorites as Jana coached me at Vanguard University and my respect and admiration for her has grown tremendously since that time. Check it out!
